Greeter/Directional Guide:
In this role, you will assist attendees by answering questions about courses, events, directions, food services and other general topics. Greeters/Directional Guides should have a basic familiarity with Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area and must be comfortable standing in one location for extended periods. Assignments will be located throughout the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and the CLA team will direct you to your designated spot upon check-in.
On-Call/Swing Volunteer:
On-Call/Swing Volunteers provide flexible support throughout the event. You may be asked to fill in for last-minute cancellations or assist in areas with increased need. Please check in at the CLA desk at the start of your shift and remain available for the full duration of your scheduled commitment. Assignment locations will be given as needs arise.
Eligibility:
All SmileCon registrants excluding non-member dentists are welcome to volunteer for hospitality roles. However, volunteers must register for each day they plan to attend and serve. For example, if you鈥檙e volunteering on two days, you must register for at least a 2-Day Pass.
